Place your apples, blackberries, and strawberries in a saute pan with 1 cup of water. Turn the heat to about medium, just enough to get the water simmering. Cook at a simmer for about 10 minutes, until the apples are soft.
While your fruit is cooking, combine your oats, almonds, cinnamon, vanilla, and syrup in a medium bowl. Stir together until the syrup is evenly distributed.
Once your fruit has softened, use a slotted spoon and place your fruit in the bottom of a 9"x9" baking dish in an even layer. You do not want to add the liquid the fruit is cooked.
Then top your fruit with your oat mixture, spreading evenly over top. No need to pat down just spread loosely over top.
Bake for 20-25 until the top has started to turn a darker brown and crisped up.
Serve on its own, with your favorite yogurt, or ice cream!
