My name is Jenn Lamb and I am the creator of a Dash of Macros.
I have always been a lover of food and healthy eating. A few years ago, I discovered counting macros and meal prep.
What is counting macros, you say? Here is a quick description:
Counting macros is a more in-depth way of counting calories, focusing on the macro nutrients that make up each calorie.
Discovering counting macros and meal prep changed the way I looked at food. I am now an expert in understanding how proteins, carbohydrates, and fats play a role in our diets:
- How they affect weight
- Lean muscle
- Overall health
This is where A Dash of Macros was born. To provide people with recipes that include all of the macro nutrient data, whether they count macros, count calories, or are just looking for delicious and nutritious recipes they can meal prep each week. Allowing you to step out of your routine/comfort zone and try new recipes each and every week.

A Dash of Macros: Just a dash, or the whole enchilada!
A Dash of Macros is just like a dash of spice, you can add as much or as little macro nutrition as you would like. You can simply focus on cooking delicious meals or meal prep with your macro goals in mind. I am here to help.
The goal is to provide EVERYONE with delicious healthy recipes. With the additional information needed for those who love meal prepping, counting macros, or calories.
Each recipe will include information on meal prepping and enjoying the meal later. As well as tips on making adjustments to the recipes to increase or decrease each macro.
Do you need new meal prep containers? I prefer glass containers as they last longer, don’t scratch, they are microwave safe, dishwasher safe, you can bake right in them, and my list goes on. Check out a few of my favorites below.
